Welcome to our latest interior design project for a young couple in East Hampton, NY. This saltbox house has been transformed into a modern, masculine, and chic retreat, perfect for both relaxation and entertaining. Our design approach focused on clean lines, a neutral palette, and a blend of natural and sophisticated materials to create a timeless and elegant space.
Upon entering, guests are greeted by a striking double height living room that exudes a sense of calm and sophistication with its neutral tones and minimalist decor. A plush gray sofa anchors the room, complemented by geometric throw pillows and a contemporary side table. The mid century credenza and bar cabinet in rich wood tones provide both storage and display space for personal items and decor, while adding warmth to the room. The large abstract painting on the wall introduces a pop of color and artistic flair.
The kitchen is a harmonious blend of form and function, featuring sleek white cabinetry and stainless steel appliances. The white quartz countertops offer a clean and modern look, while the walnut wood of the kitchen island introduce a natural element. Two pendant lights hang above the island, providing focused illumination and adding to the room's contemporary feel. Open shelving allows for easy access to everyday items and a chance to display stylish kitchenware.
